Introduction to Sourdough
Date: Sunday March 8th, 2020 10am-1:00pm
Location: The Castle, Rockaway NY.
Learn to work with natural leavening and experience the health benefits of whole grain, regional flour. You will make your very own sourdough starter, and we will explore the process of mixing, shaping, scoring and baking your very own loaf so that you have all the tools you need to bake sourdough bread at home. You will leave with your very own sourdough starter as well as a fresh baked loaf of bread and a proofing basket.
